Across Colombia, coffee producers are grappling with declining soil fertility and increasingly unpredictable weather, while rising costs of inputs are becoming harder to absorb.
At the same time, international buyers are raising expectations around traceability, climate resilience, and low-carbon production.
For Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG), these pressures shape the day-to-day work on farms in the region. Through Colombian group company SKN Caribecafé, it is working with more than 5,000 coffee-growing families across seven departments with the goal of building productive and resilient systems.
